Beyond Blue Collection
CURRENT CAMPAIGN: OYB x BEYOND BLUE
Currently, 3 million Australians are living with anxiety or depression. Beyond Blue provides online information and support services to help everyone in Australia achieve their best possible mental health, whatever their age and wherever they live.
We partnered with Beyond Blue to further support their goals of protecting and improving the mental health of all Australians by empowering communities affected by anxiety, depression and suicide. For every OYB item purchased during the campaign, 25% of each sale was donated to ensure Beyond Blue can continue to provide online, mental health support services for those that need it most during the COVID-19 pandemic and Beyond!
We are incredibly proud to have donated $1300 to Beyond Blue over the campaign. This directly assisted 25 people seek support from a mental health professional by either phone call, web chat or email through Beyond Blue's 24/7 Support Service.
Why the Semicolon?
In 2013, Amy Bleuel started Project Semicolon, a non-for-profit focusing on increasing mental health awareness and in turn combating the incidence of suicide. Fast forward to 2020, and the Semicolon has become a global symbol for mental health awareness. It embodies the concept of “where an author could have ended a sentence, but chose not to. The author is you and the sentence is your life.” (Project Semicolon)
